Sandra Bullock Sells 91-Acre Avocado Farm in California for $5.6 Million
Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock has successfully sold her sprawling 91-acre Southern California ranch for $5.6 million, as reported by Mansion Global. The property, located just an hour’s drive from downtown San Diego, was listed at $6 million and closed in early November.
Despite not receiving the full asking price, Bullock, who purchased the estate for $2.7 million back in 2007, was still able to make a profit on the sale. The ranch features an almost 6,000-square-foot main house, separate guest quarters, 1,200 avocado trees, citrus and eucalyptus trees, multiple rose gardens, and even a chicken coop.
The Mediterranean farm-style main house is surrounded by lush trees and offers stunning views of the meadows and mountains. The single-story home includes four bedrooms, six bathrooms, raw wide-plank hardwood floors, whitewashed wood-beam ceilings, and walls. French doors and large windows provide access to several verandas with pastoral mountain views.
The kitchen is equipped with country-style details, while the primary bedroom features a fireplace, a seating area, and doors leading to a grassy lawn and a saltwater pool and spa. Additionally, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with a gazebo and workshop is located elsewhere on the compound.
Bullock, 58, who was one of the highest-grossing female actresses of the 1990s, recently announced that she will be taking a break from acting to spend more time with her two children. The sale of her avocado farm marks a new chapter for the beloved actress as she focuses on her family and future endeavors.
