Disneyland Annual Pass Sales Restarting for Spring Break Season
Disneyland Annual Pass Sales Restart as Theme Park Prepares for Busy Season
As Disneyland continues its popular festival season and gears up for busy Spring Break crowds, the on-again and off-again sale of annual passes is once again restarting. Sales of all four tiers of Magic Key annual passes will begin on Tuesday, March 5, no earlier than 9 a.m. Pacific time.
Fans eager to purchase a Magic Key pass can enter the online waiting room starting at 8:45 a.m., where they will be automatically added to an online queue. In the past, fans have waited for hours only to find out that Disneyland has sold out of annual passes.
This time around, Disneyland is introducing a new feature to hopefully make the process easier for fans. Those waiting in the online queue will have the option to click on a “Notify Me” button, which will send an email when it’s their turn to purchase tickets. However, buyers will only have 10 minutes to click on the return link when their turn begins, or they will lose their place in line and have to start over.
The Disneyland Magic Key Buying Guide provides details on setting up a Disney account, payment information, pass upgrades, virtual queues, email alerts, and making the first reservation. Prices for Magic Key passes range from $499 for the Imagine Key to $1,649 for the Inspire Key.
Existing Magic Key annual pass holders can also renew their passes during the month before expiration. With limited availability, Disneyland urges fans to act quickly as passes could sell out fast.
With the reopening of annual pass sales, Disneyland is gearing up for a busy season ahead, as guests flock to the park to experience the magic of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and the various festivals and events taking place.
